IYRN
About
The Integral Yoga Research Network (IYRN) is a platform to facilitate research, dialogue, and collaboration in the academic study of Integral Yoga—the spiritual philosophy and practice developed by Sri Aurobindo and the Mother (Mirra Alfassa).
What We Do
IYRN connects a global network of scholars and researchers working across disciplines, including philosophy, religious studies, psychology, education, political and social theory, history, anthropology, cultural studies, literature, philology, art and aesthetics, music, health, ecology, and consciousness studies. The network provides a focused space for rigorous academic engagement with Integral Yoga and its wider intellectual and practical implications.
How It Works
IYRN functions through an email discussion forum in which members share messages within the network to foster scholarly exchange.
Who Can Join
The network is open to:
- University faculty and researchers
- Doctoral and postdoctoral scholars
- Graduate students
- Independent researchers with demonstrated work (typically publications) in the field
